I had one of the most touching experiences of my life today. I had been at Calvary Community Church a year ago to talk to the women about For Women Only to explain things that they didn’t know that the men in their life needed. That event a year ago was a great event and the church had invited me to come back this year to do the For Men Only version.
I came in expecting just a few men, since men don’t usually attend relationship type of events. Instead there were 350 men in the room. When they introduced me and I walked in on stage, all 350 men jumped to their feet and started applauding and they wouldn’t stop. It was one of the most touching moments of my life, I almost lost it right there on stage. I realize from just one incident how much pent-up emotion there is among men to want so desperately to be understood by their wives. Once they get a glimpse of how it feels to be understood by their wives, and how it feels to be treated with respect, I can see how grateful they are that she has that information. 
I was so powerfully moved by this event today and frankly I was just very impressed that 350 clients would be willing to sit down in a room for four hours and listen to our relationship talk. The guys all seem to really enjoy it- I use a lot of movie clips to illustrate the point. They said afterwards that they got a lot of great information that they didn’t know before about their wives and they were glad that was their turn. It was a great day.
