| My friends tell me i'll never get a g-friend Bcause i have acne and chicken pox scars (they sometimes laugh at me). im even using ProActive! Do u honestly care if a guy has acne or scars on his face? im very curious 2 c what u have 2 say. |

i'm grinning from ear to ear, and not because i'm imagining you with zits and scars. because i'm trying not to like a guy right now that has that exact same problem! yeah i'm serious. :p
the first couple of months i knew him, it was noticeable but after a while i barely noticed. and now i have to like MAKE myself notice, seriously. i mean, it's really no problem whatsoever to me. he's an awesome guy otherwise and we've been good friends for a year now.
ps - the reasons i don't want to like him are: 1) he likes my best friend and 2) he's a baptist, i'm just non-denominational/charismatic, so there's alot of differences in worship/speaking in tongues/teaching, etc. UGH.

| no for me that is not the greatest deal! don't even think that! cuz if someone wants you only cuz you look good how much love will they have for you after you're married?! the love pry was not very deep, my mom used to always say looks is only skin deep;-) but for me what counts the most is the guys attitude, his love for Christ, if he takes up leadership, ya things like that! |

Don't pay any attention to what your friends say. (they probably have big noses or something!  )
I know people who have had acne, and I honestly don't notice anymore!!
But what is going to affects us as girls is if you are self conscious of your face. You need to feel comfortable with who you are.
If a girl doesn't want to hang around you because of the way you look, she'll be pretty shallow.
So yeah, don't worry!  |

Oh man!! NO!  Any girl who wont hang out with you for that reason, is NOT worth thinkin bout!! I got a friend who started havin out breaks bout a year ago, and I really dont even see it when I look at him! At first I noticed, cause I hadnt seen him for awhile, but I dont at all now! Think bout this, if your friend gets a new hair cut, and it dont turn out like he thought it would, is that all you see when you look at him? Would that make him any less cool?  |

i really dont notice if a guy has acne ive actually had crushes of a few guys who had acne and my boyfriend has some scars on his face actually so i dont think its a big deal and like everyone else has been saying if a girl doesnt like you for that reason shes not worth it  |

I have a girl at youth group (Shes a sophmore now) who's dating this guy who graduated last year and he has TONNES of acne. but honestly, he is such an awesome guy! and none of us really notice it... I think the only time we'll really ever be put off is when the acne is humungis and ***** and ew...lol
There was one guy at our school like that and it was so bad that it was infected and he stank!
So we all avoided him
But that's an EXTREME case!
so dont worry, any worthwhile girl wouldnt really care, I think your friends are just having a go at you, just ignore it
(And btw, Im almost 20, so I represent the veiw of girls who are past their teens as well as teenagers...  )

| Thanks a lot all of u have just made my life 100% better =} And thank God my acne is not as bad as JoJo said (LOL) 'bout the other guy (no offence 2 him). good parabul (or whatever it's called) Waitin08. and yes his nose is fat and his face is always red 2 artyprincess. thanks again!!!!! all of u gave great advice 4 any teen/guy out there w/ my problem. i dont know how many times i can say it but thanks ALOT!!! |

| Don't forget that you're young, and it'll go away. I had a little acne when I was younger, but now it's largely gone and my skin is much clearer. And a girl who really likes you for you won't care anyways. |

Oh dear, I have chicken pox scars too, I used to peel them off when I was a kid =P I actually really like scars, they have a story to tell and make you unquie. As for the acne, I don't think anybody really cares- being blunt. I mean, were teenagers, there's no way to escape it. I don't even notice it really, once I think about it... there's this really cuteeee guy that has acne, but oh yeesh, I don't even think it makes a difference
P.S. if some girl won't date a guy because of scars/acne, she needs to come back down to earth. |

Hey Madison thats a cool phrase 'bout scars, i never thought 'bout it that way. my dad has a cool scar, but he got it doin a real dum thing. (i know it doesen't have 2 do w/ the subject, but oh well) My dad works @ an ice company and one day him and some other guys made a dry ice bomb (im not tellin' how u can make 1 so u dont do what he did). they chucked it and it went under a truck so my dad got a stick and pushed it into the parken' lot and he was almost inside and it xploded and a piece of it hit his shoulder. so now he has a scar about the size as a piece of bread on his shoulder. thats a story compared 2 i peeled chicken pox scabs when i was a kid (i was 13)(no offence 2 people that did). but i'd rather have a chicken pox scar. thanks 4 lettin me waste a min. of ur life. jk'n

| like rite wen i meet a guy its noticeable but not like a major turn off or anything...an after I get to kno da guy i dont even notice it anymore..like theres this guy that I met an he had rly bad acne scars..i noticed it at first..but hes so cool an funny an has such awsum personality I dont even think about it! |

My brother had cystic acne when he was a teenager and he is COVERED in scars, and he was a wonderful wife. :-)
