First off, let me say Christos Anesti!
Hey ya'll! Ok, here's the thing, there's this girl (I'll call her Han) I know and have known for like 5 years. She's almost 2 years older than me, but I don't care 'cause I look 2 years older than I am! lol Anyway, she's one of my sisters best friends and I'm a really close friend with her sis. I used to like her sis, but I got out of that faze recently, but I started to notice Han a lot, and more and more and more! She is seriously THE nicest girl I have ever seen, she's fun, she always laughs at my jokes, and she is down right gorgeous!  I really am thinking about dating her but I can only start at 18 so I have to wait another year!  But here is where the problem comes in....I think it might be awkward if I ask her out because I have known her for so long, and it might be strange the next time we see each other. But then again, I think she likes me, and I know every guy says that, but I've been observing, and she pretty much fits the description. I know a few years ago, my Mom said she liked me a lot 'cause she would always stare at me while I was playing a computer game without me knowing, and she still sometimes does that; she kinda flirts a lot, and she is always happy when I talk to her on the phone (not to actually to talk to her, but when she just happens to pick up the phone). Once I gave her a kiss on the cheek when giving her a hug goodbye after a party and the next time I said by she returned with a little kiss too. I know it will be another year, but I just want to know if it would be awkward if I ask her out next year (which I will just happen to know her for even longer!)

no, i dont think it would be more akward...
if she does like you, she'll be stoked  haha
or at least i would be  and fyi, the last 4 guys i liked were younger than me... the one I had considered marrying was 2 years younger... so I dont think it's weird at all, and Id have been stoked if he'd asked me out (officially) once he'd left highschool. (and seriously, i had thought he was older than me)
but yeah, idk, i guess, just keep talking to her... see where things go...

| I'm about to die! She's leaving to work at Catholic Family Land in Ohio for the whole summer!!! I won't make it! lol Hey, at least she gave me some comfort, she hugged me and put her head on mine when I told her about a dude who was making fun of me. Ahhhh........that will stay in my mind forever! I think I had a red face and a weird look after that, since we were at a table with a few friends just staring! |

| only thing I'll add is...if she's your sister's best friend and for some reason it didn't work between you that could make their friendship really awkward and maybe ruin it. Ive seen it happen many times. So pray hard about if it's the right thing to do, or you'll end up hurting a lot of people. |

hey guys, I reckon it sounds pretty good Lee  From the little I've heard you seem pretty good together. Things can get awkward easily but they don't really have to be, just be honest with yourself, with God and often talking to someone else close really helps.
Bit of a bummer she's going away all summer but if you both miss each other a lot and things haven't changed too much then that's a good sign All the best
And a quick sorry for leaving you all once again, I've been away for a while but things have been mega busy and I haven't really had any time for anything on the net at all. I reckon I'll try and make it back on tonight to catch up on what's going on hehe got some more girl troubles too haha |

| Wow! It is a small world! lol Yeah, last Friday she had a farewell party, and let me just say that was one of the best times I had with her! So many hugs!! Yeah, Clare and JoJo, your pretty right, it is a little risky, but she's REALLY easy going and she's a pro at "forgive and forget" I pray about it every day at mass. |

| Ok, I'm a newcomer here & I have just one thing to say: Lee, since you are friends with "Han's" sister, you may want to consider talking to the sister. I know some girls that would be stoked if one of their guy friends started to date their sister, and I know some girls that would be horribly mad, especially if "Han's" sister has secretly liked you. Depending on the sister's personallity and feelings, dating "Han" may ruin your friendship with her sister. I'm not trying to be a pessemist or anything, but I just wanted to say that if you value your friendship with "Han's" sister, you may want to talk to her. If you do, and she gives the O.K., or you decide to go ahead and ask "Han" anyway, it sounds like "Han" really likes you. |

| Mate go for it. Girls dont act like this to any guy. Trust me I've observed thrm fir years. With the subling thing just say " hey do you mind uf i take your sister out i really like her" and it will probably go ok with you guys if your mates. So pray, hope for the best and be brave. Thanks so much guys! She finally came back! She ask me if my brother and I wanted to meet her and her bro and sis at the board walk. That went great! She went to a Byzantine liturgy and she LOVED it!!!! Which makes things a billion times easier!
Just curious, what can you make of this; this is a FB discussion; can you make anything at all out of this?:
Me: learning the Lords Prayer in Greek, the way it originally was spoken
Han: ummm it was actually spoken in the language of the Jews....Hebrew.....
Me: oh yeah...oops, it was Hebrew....or Aramaic...
