I was just wondering what everyone here likes listening to.

I know that on my ipod i have a lot of David Crowder Band, Matt Redman, Charlie Hall, Chris Tomlin, Passion (check it out at 268generation.com), Delirious, Watermark, I have Sound Of Melodies from Leeland, I have a few Newsboys, and more christian/ worship bands.

Because I was created by God and for His glory, I will magnify Him as I respond to His great love. My desire is to make knowing and enjoying God, the passionate pursuit of my life. - Louie Giglio

Um.... lets see! I like Irish/Celtic music a lot (I am a teeny, tiny part Irish!). I can stand country music, (my Dad likes country) but I also like a selection of other random songs. Oh, and I like ABBA! I like upbeat kinda songs, not rock and roll, though, or rap. I need to be able to understand it!!

God Can.

Hm... for artists/groups, some of the ones I listen to the most are Bethany Dillon, Delirious?, Dean Martin, Coldplay, Frank Sinatra, Hillsong, John Mayer, Keane, Newsboys, Rich Mullins, Tree63, The Fray.... oh, and classical. Lots and lots of classical music. Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, Rachaminoff, Wagner... you name it, I have it. Classical is the only music I can listen to consistently that I don't feel the urge to skip at all. It's also very… calming.

My favorite band by far is Jason Mraz. Some others include Kerli, The All American Rejects, The Beatles, Chiodos, Coldplay, The Cranberries, Dashboard Confessional, Dispatch, Foo FIghters, Goot, Green Day, Jack Johnson, John Mayer, Maroon 5, O.A.R., The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, The Strokes, This Providence, Tokio Hotel, Yellowcard. That's about it. There's abunch more but those are the ones I regularly listen to.

I'm into Classical, especially the works of a few modern composers like Robert W. Smith and James Barnes, and also Death Metal (Christan, of course). I really like Becoming the Archetype, especially their song "Evil Unseen".

There is a pattern of deception growing
Feeding off of our ignorance
IT WON'T LET GO! Until we let go
IT WANTS CONTROL! Just take a leap of faith
So many times we doom ourselves
But the root is always the same
We exchange our faith for "rational thought"
We trade our conscience for "advanced reasoning"
But there's no love in thought
Nothing that lasts in deduction
There's no hope in justifying wrong
Just death in rationalism
I am not of this world
And science cannot explain me
I will transcend death
This body will not contain me
This evil unseen must be defeated
This pattern must be destroyed
It hijacks the mind
Distorts our perception
Perverting the truth 'til it's gone
IT WON'T LET GO! Until we let go
IT WANTS CONTROL! Just take a leap of faith
Oh Heaven break this cycle
Compromise your faith and doom your generation
The cancer of mind-worship will leave your spirit to decay

switchfoot all the way

What's another word for "thesaurus"?
Why does the Easter bunny carry eggs? Rabbits don't lay eggs.
What disease did cured ham actually have?
Isn't it a bit unnerving that doctors call what they do "practice"?

these are the questions i'll ask when i get to heaven
