I know that looks aren't everything :) Personality is so much more. But Guys: Just out of curiosity, what are some features that you like on girls? :)

Thanks!

Naomi, don't forget, you're talking to guys here... looks aren't everything, but we are rather visual, so it isn't too hard for us to make that list... and it also varies from guy to guy. You're basically going to get a list of what we think makes up a beautiful girl.
I'll just give some... a figure that's not too heavy on either weight or... figure. A pretty face in general, and beautiful hair. Other huge thing... beautiful eyes. Wow do I feel picky.

That wasn't picky sounding. Once I read the Singles ads in the news paper, and that was picky and I have never read it again! What do you define as beautiful eyes? I have very dark brown eyes but they're hidden behind glasses. I though about contacts but I have some health issues and the glassses cover the dark circles under my eyes! My ex liked it when I took my glasses off so he could see my eyes. But would a guy rather see the eyes or have the dark circles covered by glasses:)

Clare,
This is a little off topic, and idk if you wear makeup, but there are cosmetics specially designed to clver up dark circles. :)

Wow... ok, Yeah, well... Maybe so.
What's beautiful about some eyes is really hard to define. The easy definition is they're eyes I feel like I could gaze into forever... or eyes that can melt me. Considering I've had friends with beautiful eyes that were blue, green and brown... I'd say it's not really color.
I personally would rather see a girl's eyes.

wjr1991 i completely agree w/ you about the eyes, right now there is this girl i like alot and i feel like i could stare in2 her eyes forever...it's different...but it does depend on the guy....different guys like different things about girls....i also like nice hair and a good smile, but thats just me so don't think all guys are gonna like the same thing about girls as i do.....but i'd say personality is def. alot more important than looks :)

Really? Maybe I'm just too self conscious about how I look without glasses. I don't usually wear make up, not like some conviction or anything, it just takes too long to put on and I'm always in a hurry and it's just less hassle:)
Maybe I'm the pick one. I have a hrd tiem with guys with blue eyes. Sure they're beautiful, but I always feel like they can look rihgt through me and can see inside. Most of my teachers had blue eyes and I was in trouble a lot maybe that's where the bad connotation comes from. Oddly, all my guy friends have blue eyes.

I feel the same way, Clare. Even though I think blue eyes are really pretty, when I'm talking to someone who has really light blue eyes I feel like I have to look away alot. And then I feel really awkward. :]

Ha... this is kind of a weird question, but I've heard before that guys don't really pay attention to features like noses, lips, feet, or fingernails. Is this true??

I don't. Sometimes I notice fingernails, but there not something as a atractive as say faces, eyes or hairs. We will probably notice lips if we are about to kiss a girl. I might notice feet, maybe. I don't usually care about noses, I mean unless you're like Snape, noses don't really matter.

a.) Thanks a lot girls... I have really light blue eyes. (However I guess I always thought of it the other way, and felt like people could look through my eyes into me, and so I have a hard time holding eye contact sometimes.)
b.) I definitely pay attention to noses... which makes me feel picky, 'cause there are some girls I just don't think I could be "interested" in because of their nose. I do also notice the lips of girls I've liked. I don't pay as much attention to a girl's feet, kinda because they're on the opposite end of her from her face, but... I do pay some. And fingernails, I don't pay a ton of attention to, but I do notice whether she might go for fake nails, keep her own really well, or does the kinda tomboyish "keep 'em short, that's it." type thing.

Sorry, Claire, I wrote that reply, did a bunch of stuff, then came back and posted it after you. I guess I was saying some guys do. I'm not a big fan of the long nails, myself... I just am not. I don't really like coconut either, nor hot pink, nor the Nissan Cube. (I also don't really like mullets.) Matter of taste, I think.

I like your opinions! They're funny and interesting! Nothing is wrong with blue eyes, it'snot like a girl won't like you because of them all the guys I ever liked had blue eye so I don't know why I like brown! Weird.
When I meet a guy I probably could tell you later exactly what his features were. I totally pay attention to teh small things

I have blue eyes. I don't look at many people eyes, cause I try not to come off creepy. I wouldn't notice fake nails unless you're talking about like 9 inch nails or something. I would notice the girl from Guiness Book of World Records (The one with NAILS)

I tend to notice little things, too. I always read nametags if people are wearing them.... even if they're just the people on the checkout at the supermarket.
I don't like mullets either. I like to keep eye contact, but not if I'm creeped out by the person's eyes (like, if they're staring or being really shifty...)

Thanks, Claire! I try on occasion. I must say, that's only half a relief... there are days it'd me much simpler if girls didn't "like" me. (The beginning of this week was crazy.)
I don't think I could tell you exactly what a girl looked like after meeting her, but... if there was anything striking, or that I had a strong opinion on, I'd be able to recount that.

from what I've heard from my guy friends, physical appearance can and does mean alot. one of them has complimented me on my painted red fingernails, which to me, was very observant for a guy. I've heard (like the guys on here are saying) that eyes and hair play a big role. plenty of guys like short hair (above the chin, I consider that short), many others like really long hair, and still others really don't care. I've heard that anything that looks/seems seriously fake (hair color, tons of makeup, fake nails, even high heels) is a turn-off.

You may as well come quiet.
