Well, there were those "pearls of wisdom"! Did you know that off the top of your head, or have to look it up? |

Heh, no, I may be good at some things, but I'm not THAT good! LOL I grabbed my trusty ol' bible and looked 'em up. I'm glad I did, too, because I've been curious what the bible says about jewelry as well.

Well, if you really want me lie, I guess I could, but last I checked, women don't really appreciate that. That's great! Not only do you learn your history, it's really important history! Have fun!

| @Grant - I never really thought about it that much. it was just something I wanted to do for a while now. so maybe that's why my dad said no, haha! since I can't remember ever praying about it or seriously sitting down and thinking if it was really necessary. it didn't devastate me not to get it, so it's all good. |

Thanks for the reply! I was just curious why someone would want to put a ring in their lip since it has never appealed to me at all, and after one of my old crushes(she's gorgeous) got one just recently, I can't say that I'm all that attracted to her anymore. It's personal preference, and completely up to you and your dad, but those are my 2 cents. have a great day! |

| They're cool on some people. I know a guy with one and that's his only piercing and it looks neat. It would give me nightmares! I got my ears pierced in July and they're still infected. I shudder to think I almost got a nose stud. I would have a huge nose for months! So for me, piercings are a no go, My body can't handle them. |

Too many piercings I wouldn't go for- and don't like. I wouldn't mind getting my ears pierced though. My sister recently got hers pierced. Basically we shouldn't overly and highly adorn ourselves with jewelry and piercings, etc. We're children of God, and we should focus more on our inner beauty. But I think some jewelry is very pretty/attracting on some people. |

Wow! The thought of getting my ears pierced as a teen seems so foreign to me. My mother is Mexican, and it's Mexican tradition to get the daughters' ears pierced when she's a baby. I had mine pierced at 10 months old. I'm glad, because I don't remember anything, and my skin was young and "pliable," I guess you could say
I don't think I'll ever get another piercing anywhere else. |

I had my ears pierced when i was 3, but i dont remember it. mom said i screamed and cried all the way home. lol one of my friends just got her bellybutten pierced, i asked her why and she said cuz its cute and cool....nobody can see it in the winter so i think it was a waste of money. oh how about spacers, those i just....um DONT like. Thats just my opinion.. Ok so nose piercings i can handle only if its a stud (i dont have one and dont want one). like it looks good some ppl. after awhile, seeing ppl like that you sorta get use to it. i only have my ears pierced and thats all i want. know what i mean? |

Plus with the spacers... or Grr I cant think of the name for them, They smell... Horribly disgusting. Like rotting flesh. Trust me. My sister friend has them. And when she takes it out to clean it and switch it out she herself has do basically dunk her ear in alcohol to cover the smell. It makes her gag. So yeah, lets stop this obsession with those huh?? Lol |

| I'm a little lost on gauges? Spacers? Tunnels? Been away for a while i guess. But just to put in my 2 cents: TOO MANY piercings and it kind of turns off something inside of me- like I ask the question: "Why?" It's not that they're totally weird or bad in terms of character, it's just that I can't comprehend why you would put a piercing in that particular place or places. |

are spacers those things you put in your ear and they're like those huge ring things that make this huge hole in your ear? those are gross....i personally don't have any piercings and am not allowed to until i'm 18, but i don't really want to. tis just one more thing for me to deal with... as for the "what you see in the guy/girl" thing::: i don't remember who said this but i agree with the person who said that they don't always think a guy is cute at first but then they like the personality and as a result end up liking the guy for his looks. i started out being completely only friends with my current boyfriend at the beginning, the only thing that made him stand out was his slightly different accent. (i LOVE accents, i guess it goes with a love of languages and such....) but like 6 months after that i was like "wow he's pretty cute...and sweet....and smart....and a Christian....okay he's perfect" hahaha |

allie, really? can you tell me so i can buy some? lol. I have the same problem as you clare, I have dark circles under my eyes along with some purplish bags directly under my my lashes so it looks like I got punched in the face. I have to use a lot of concealer (two different shades) to try and hide it.

But whatever gain I had, I counted as loss for the sake of Christ. Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ Philippians 3:7-8 |

Did that work? I really want to get contacts, but I'm even more pale than usual and wow I look like I'm sporting a punch in the face. Glasses help hide that. @ Rachel, I love hearing people on here that things are working out for them, not hopes getting crashed again and again. Keep those positive posts coming |

yeahhh i totally think that guys are so much less complicated than girls sometimes. like all my girl friends are like making my life full of drama and then i talk to my guy friends and they boil things down to pure simplicity and make me laugh and smile hehe |
